Welcome
We are the "Liveliest Post in Bergen County!". We have over 1,000 American Legion members and we welcome you to come join us. If you served in the military during a conflict you are eligible. We also have our other organizations, The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion (SAL). We also have our American Legion Riders chapter. The Riders are motorcycle enthusiasts who are American Legion, Auxiliary, and SAL members. There are eligibility requirements for membership into The American Legion and our organizations. Please review the requirements and if you have any questions please contact us.
We are located in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. Many of our members reside in other surrounding towns. You can join us even if you reside outside of Rochelle Park.
Blood Drive for One of Our Own
One of our own, Tommy O'Neill, was in a bad car accident and we are having a Blood Drive on Wednesday, August 4th from 3pm-9pm in support of our Legion comrade and Riders brother, Tommy. Refreshments will be served. Please stop by and come out support one of our own and please keep Tommy in your prayers.
Post 170 50/50 Raffle
Get your 50/50 raffle tickets in for the September 11th drawing!
Send in your tickets and help us continue funding the many programs we support. As you are aware, today's economy is tough on all of us, which includes Post 170. We are in need of raising additional funds to continue our support of scholarships, bingo parties and casino night for all the veterans at the Paramus Veterans Home, donations to numerous charities and the community, just to name a few. So please buy or sell the tickets at $5.00 each and get them back in to us. Additional tickets are available at the Post 170 lounge. See a bartender for tickets. SAL & Riders 3rd Annual Pig Roast is rescheduled from July 17th to Saturday August 21st from 12pm-6pm at the Post 170 pavilion. Bring the family! Food and fun for all! Tickets available at Post lounge or see a SAL or Rider member. $25.00 per person, children under 10 free. Roasted Pork,
