Committee Approves Bucco Bill to Create ‘Military Appreciation Month’ in NJ

Wednesday, March 26th, 2014 @ 11:57AM

The Senate Military & Veterans’ Affairs Committee unanimously passed a bipartisan measure sponsored by Senator Anthony Bucco (R-Morris) to make May “Military Appreciation Month” in New Jersey.

“I encourage all New Jerseyans to honor the sacrifices of our armed forces and their families,” Bucco said. “I’m hoping that May can be a special month with activities, programs and events dedicated to our bravest men and women all across New Jersey.”

This legislation, S1607, was unanimously passed by the Assembly earlier this month and heads to the full Senate.
