Order a Paver to Support the NJVVM
Tuesday, May 27th, 2014 @ 1:18PM
As some of you may know we obtained, renovated and dedicated a two tour Vietnam Huey Helicopter for the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Museum & Educational Center in Holmdel (see attached). The Vietnam Era Museum & Educational Center is the first educational center and museum of its kind in the United States. So this Huey is very appropriate to further explain the history of the Vietnam War to our NJ residents and guests. This dedication occurred on May 7, which was a “grand” day for the Vietnam veteran and their supporters because of this dedication and other activities. Additionally and as planned for this day, May 7th was created by NJ legislation in 1991 as a unique day in New Jersey to honor all those who served in the military during the Vietnam Era from 1959 to 1975. More than 200,000 New Jersey residents served in the armed forces during that time, with 1,563 killed in action.
Therefore, be a part of this history and support this NJ treasure, with the purchase of a paver for the Huey Plaza. See the link below for the purchase and additional information. It is indeed a special gift for a Vietnam vet, family member, name of a Post, etc. Thank you!
