SOCIAL WORK AND THE MILITARY: TREATING VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES

After serving in the military, individuals may experience mental and emotional issues as they seek to adjust to life back home. To help with this adjustment, military social workers assist veterans and their families to work through potential problems that may arise.
